Zapier Integration
There are two ways to trigger the automation to Zapier, manually by the properties, and by the deals board.
Setting up the Integration of Pebble to Zapier.
- Login to your Pebble and Zapier account.
- Inside Pebble, go to Settings on the left sidebar menu.
- Select Integration in the upper-right-hand corner. The Integrations list will display.
- Select Zapier and click Connect. An invitation notice from Zapier will pop up.
- Click the Accept Invite and Build a Zap button. The Zapier app will open. Note: Make sure you are logged in to your Zapier account when you perform this task.
Creating a Zapier Integration in the Deals section.
- Go to Zapier; click the Create A Zap button. The Trigger window will open.
- Fill out the Trigger section. (A trigger is an event that starts your Zap).
- Select the app to trigger. Type Pebble in the search bar - and select REI Pebble from the display.
- Select the event from the dropdown menu. For example, Send Seller.
- Choose an account. Note: Make sure you are logged in to your Pebble account. Hit Continue.
- Fill out the Integration Name field of your preference. For example, Send contact to MailChimp.
- Test the trigger by clicking the Test trigger button. Zapier will pull up the information from Pebble. Note: Zap creation is successful if the system finds a result. In able to test the integration, make sure that the data to integrate are available.
- Choose from the results by clicking the dropdown arrow.
- Look at the result of the test trigger, ideally, it should contain important data, such as email, name, etc. Click Continue.
- Select the app to trigger. Type Pebble in the search bar - and select REI Pebble from the display.
- Fill out the Action section. (An Action is an event a Zap performs after it starts).
- Select an app to send the data. For example, Mailchimp. Make sure that you are logged in to the app.
- Choose an event by clicking the dropdown arrow. For example, Add/ Update Subscriber. Hit Continue.
- Choose an account from the app. Click Continue.
- Set up the action. Map the information by clicking the dropdown arrow. Note: Make sure to map the information in the required fields.
- Audience (required)
- Subscriber Email (required).
- Scroll down and hit Continue.
- Click Test Action. As a test result, it should send an email to the selected app (for this example, Mailchimp).
- Click Publish Zap. Confirm the selection by clicking Publish & Turn On. Wait for Zapier to publish the zap. A notice will pop up saying the Zap is on.
Viewing the integration made inside Pebble
- Go to Settings on the left side panel.
- Click the Integrations button in the upper-right-hand corner.
- Click the Edit button to edit the integration, or the Delete button to delete the integration.
Setting up the automation on the Deals page inside Pebble.
- Go to Deals → Seller Deals (or go to the preferred Deals board) on the left sidebar menu.
- Select the stage to apply the automation, for example, Second Stage.
- Click the ellipsis (three dots) in the upper-right corner of the card.
- Select Automation.
- Click the +Add Automation button.
- Click the dropdown menu, and select Send to Integration. The integration will auto-populate in the Integration field. Click Save. The added automation will display in the Stage Automations section.
Creating a Zapier Integration in the Properties section
- Go to Zapier; click Zaps in the left side panel. Click Create → New Zap in the upper right corner. The Trigger window will open.
- Fill out the Trigger section. (A trigger is an event that starts your Zap).
- Select the app to trigger. Type Pebble in the search bar - and select REI Pebble from the display.
- Select the event from the dropdown menu. For example, Send Property. Hit Continue.
- Choose an account. Make sure you are logged in to your Pebble account. Hit Continue.
- Fill out the Integration Name field of your preference. For example, GPS to Gmail photographer. Hit Continue.
- Test the trigger by clicking the Test trigger button. Zapier will pull up the information from property records. Note: The test trigger is successful if the system finds a result.
- Choose from the test trigger results by clicking the dropdown arrow. Hit Continue.
- Look at the result of the test trigger, ideally, it should contain important data, such as email, name, etc. Click Continue.
- Fill out the Action section. (An Action is an event a Zap performs after it starts).
- Select an app to send the data. For example, Email by Zapier (or select from the list of apps). Make sure that you are logged in to the app.
- Choose an event by clicking the dropdown arrow. For example, Send an outbound email. Hit Continue.
- Fill out the Set up action fields. Map the information by going to the Insert Data section.
- To
- Subject. Note: The system can pull out data from the properties section
- Body. Note: The system can pull out data from the properties section.
- Click Continue.
- Click Test Action. As a test result, it should send an email to the selected app (for this example, Email by Zapier).
- Check the actual result by going to the integrated app (for this example, through Gmail - Email by Zapier).
- Click Publish Zap. Confirm the selection by clicking Publish & Turn On. Wait for Zapier to publish the zap. A notice will pop up saying the Zap is on.
Applying the integration on the Properties page inside Pebble
- Go to the Properties on the left sidebar menu.
- On the right side panel, click the property you want to apply the automation. The details of the property will pop up.
- Scroll down to the Integrations section. Hit Send. An email should be received as a result of the integration.
