Pebble Intelligence is the AI engine inside Pebble. It powers a growing suite of tools to help you automate and scale your land business.

The Intake Agent is the first Pebble Intelligence feature: an AI-powered call intake assistant that answers first-time seller calls, qualifies leads, and creates deals in Pebble. Instead of sending new callers to voicemail or relying on third-party services, your Intake Agent ensures every initial inquiry is captured, organized, and handed off to you at the right moment. It can even handle multiple calls at the same time, so no seller ever gets a busy signal or goes unanswered.

What is the Intake Agent?

The Intake Agent is an AI call assistant powered by Pebble Intelligence. It:

  • Greets first-time callers with your chosen agent name and company.
  • Answers basic questions about your business using details you provide.
  • Asks intake questions to collect property information.
  • Creates and organizes deals in Pebble when a caller is interested in selling.
  • Transfers qualified calls directly to you with a short handoff summary.

Setting Up Your Intake Agent

  1. Go to Inbox Settings.

    Click Configure Intake Agent.

    Choose which inbox (seller or buyer) to connect it to.

    Most users configure the Intake Agent for their seller inbox.

    Fill in the following fields:

    • Agent Name: Default is “Alex,” but you can name it anything.
    • Company Name: How the agent introduces your brand (e.g., “ABC Land Company”).
    • About Your Company: Add relevant info (500 character limit). Example: “We specialize in vacant land in Colorado. We close quickly and offer flexible financing.”


Intake Questions

Your agent can ask callers additional questions to help you qualify leads.

  • Toggle questions on/off depending on what’s important to your process (e.g., Mailer Code, How long they’ve owned the property).
  • These questions may evolve over time, but you’ll always have control over which are active.


Test your agent

You can also test your agent directly from Pebble by simulating a call from your browser, on the same page you configure it.


Assigning Phone Numbers

You can choose which Pebble phone numbers your Intake Agent will answer.

  • Turn numbers on or off depending on your campaigns or counties.
  • Example: Have the Intake Agent handle calls for your Texas number, but not for your Florida number.


How Leads Are Handled

When the Intake Agent determines a new caller is interested in selling:

  • A deal is automatically created and linked to the conversation.
  • If a mailer code is captured, the deal is tied to the correct campaign.
  • Contacts and properties are synced into Pebble.
  • You choose which stage the new deal enters (e.g., Seller Inquiry, New Lead), on the configuration page.

If the AI determines the caller is not interested, no deal will be created.



Viewing Calls, Transcripts & Tags

Each first-time call handled by the Intake Agent will appear in your Inbox with a clear summary. You’ll see:

  • Caller details (name, phone, property info).

    Key notes captured by the Intake Agent (e.g., ownership details, mailer code, interest in an offer).

    Whether an offer is requested.

    Transcript of the full conversation.

    Call recording (AI agent + handoff to you).

    Quick-reference tags such as:

    • Deal Created
    • Hot Lead
    • Needs Follow-Up
    • Callback Requested
    • Not Interested
    • Disqualified

These tags act as a snapshot to help you quickly understand the outcome of a call. They are not yet filterable or clickable but may be expanded in the future.

When a call is transferred, the AI first gives you a brief summary before connecting you with the seller.


Who Does the Intake Agent Answer?

Currently, the Intake Agent only responds to entirely new leads.

  • If a seller calls you for the first time and has never called or texted you before, the Intake Agent will pick up, qualify, and process their inquiry.
  • If a seller has called or texted you before, the call will be routed to your team as usual (not answered by the Intake Agent).
  • This also means that if a seller’s first call happens as part of an ongoing text thread (e.g., you sent a text campaign and they reply by calling), the Intake Agent will not answer — the call goes directly to your team.

This ensures the Intake Agent always focuses on capturing brand new, first-time leads, while you maintain control of ongoing conversations.


Can the Intake Agent Handle More Than One Call?

Yes! The Intake Agent can manage multiple calls simultaneously. This means:

  • Sellers will never hit a busy line.
  • You won’t miss opportunities just because another call came in at the same time.
  • Every new lead gets answered, qualified, and logged automatically.

Pricing

The Intake Agent is billed per successful deal creation.

  • $0.99 per deal created
  • You will not be charged for calls that do not result in a deal

This way, you only pay when the Intake Agent brings you a lead that enters your pipeline.
